INCENTIVISE5.0 - Inciter au changement et autonomiser les chaînes de valeur innovantes et transformatrices ainsi que la durabilité inclusive dans les industries à forte intensité énergétique
The European Union's Energy Intensive Industries (EIIs) are critical to the economy but face significant pressures from decarbonisation mandates, resource shortages, and the need for enhanced competitiveness. INCENTIVISE5.0 proposes a coordinated approach to help EIIs adopt the principles of Industry 5.0 (I5.0) as a strategic pathway to overcome these challenges and secure long-term advantage. INCENTIVISE5.0 aims to accelerate the EII's transition towards a human-centric, sustainable, resilient, and productive industrial future, thereby strengthening the EU’s strategic autonomy and fostering competitive sustainability. INCENTIVISE5.0 will co-develop a suite of practical tools and frameworks with stakeholders from ten key EII sectors. Central to this are the 'Compass 5.0', an operational framework to guide the transformation, and the 'I5.0 RoX' (Return on X) evaluation model, designed to demonstrate the business case for investments beyond traditional financial metrics. The project will engage fifty companies, within ten EII sectors, in integrating radical workplace innovation. Through a multi-stakeholder Cooperation Board including industrial, academic, governmental and social partners, and leveraging a Digital Co-learning Platform for continuous engagement, the project will build capacity and facilitate the systemic shift to I5.0. Expected outcomes include sector-specific roadmaps, stakeholder agreements, and influential policy briefs.
