STRONGBIONET : Renforcer et connecter les réseaux de la bioéconomie pour améliorer la résilience, la compétitivité et la croissance
"STRONGBIONET aims to reinforce the European Bioeconomy by enhancing the coordination and coherence of existing initiatives. Acting as a true ""network of networks"", STRONGBIONET will mobilise and integrate stakeholders across Europe, fostering co-creation processes that strengthen connections, encourage collaboration and promote mutual learning. To achieve this, STRONGBIONET will develop a multilingual, EU-wide platform serving as a one-stop hub for networking, knowledge exchange, education, investment readiness and science policy dialogue. STRONGBIONET is implemented by a highly skilled and diverse consortium from 14 countries, with a strong focus on European regions lagging behind, particularly widening countries such as Portugal, Slovakia, Greece, Lithuania and Hungary. At the same time, it ensures broad participation from other EU countries, including Spain, France, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Finland and Italy, as well as from non-EU such as Canada and New-Zealand. International cooperation is further strengthened through an Advisory Board that brings together representatives from Chile, USA, Brazil and Turkey. The active involvement of regional clusters and international associations plays a key role in mobilising and engaging stakeholders at local, regional and international levels. Four thematic Communities of Practice will connect educators, researchers, industry, SMEs, multinationals, farmers, investors, policymakers and civil society, including under-represented groups, enabling seven specific objectives. By engaging around 3,500 stakeholders and delivering 21 results, STRONGBIONET will not only accelerate the uptake of bioeconomy solutions but also ensure their long-term continuity through institutional anchoring, robust governance and sustainable exploitation pathways."
