Goals
Eesti Põllumajandus-Kaubanduskoda was established on June 28, 1996, as a private law association of agricultural producers and processors. Since 1997, a number of various food sector supporting organizations and institutions have been added. The number of members of the Estonian Chamber of Agriculture and Commerce, directly and through member organizations, is 30,000. The aim of EPKK is to value Estonian agricultural products and foodstuffs through its services both on the domestic and foreign markets, to support cooperation between Estonian farmers and food processors, trade in agricultural products and foodstuffs both on the domestic and foreign markets, to mediate necessary information to its members and to represent its membership.

Common Agricultural Policy, agriculture and rural development, general food law, food safety, agricultural environment, climate action, fisheries and aquaculture, research and development in agricultural field.
EU Supported Forums and Platforms
EPKK represents agricultural producers in negotiations with the government; is one of the largest social partners of the Estonian state in the development of rural and agricultural policy decisions; offers producers and processors assistance in finding business partners; mediates necessary information to them; organizes forums and information days under the leadership of professional committees; organizes the participation of its members in both domestic and foreign fairs; conducts quality assessment of foodstuffs and issues the "Recognized Taste" and "Recognized Estonian Taste" marks, which have gained popularity among both producers and consumers; helps to clarify the views of different links in the food chain and to develop common positions for the sector; represents Estonian farmers in the organizations of European Union farmers.
