Goals
The selfless purpose of the Institute of Tropical Medicine is to conduct and promote scientific research and innovation, professional and academic education as well as scientific and societal services, including medical services, in the field of tropical diseases and global healthcare. The purpose is advanced, inter alia, through transformative and strategic partnerships with particular attention to underserved populations worldwide. We are located in Antwerp but also active locally as well as nationally, globally and in Europe.
